The Story Behind our beginning.

As a family of avid riders, we like so many in the valley found our options for motorcycle service limited especially when it came to Harley Davidson brand motorcycles. When we began riding in earnest with the Memorial Day Riders we found there were many who were trailering their bikes to Grand Junction and not having any idea when they would get their rides back or what the final cost would be. Having always performed all of my own repairs on my vehicles and motorcycles since I was a youth and also having an unexpected change in my long term employment, I offered to start doing the occasional repair for friends in my spare time out of my garage. This quickly ballooned into not having any room in my driveway or garage. It was time to find a building and open a legit business. The search was on to find a suitable building and location. Though I had requested a 2-3 week break from working on bikes to get moved into and set up the new shop, my future customers had other ideas and my door was being beat down so we opened 2 weeks ahead of schedule. Our goal was and still is simple. To provide honest, quality service, fair pricing, offer quality branded products, and to stand behind the work we do.  We are happy to show our customers the work we are doing on their bikes and explain in understandable detail the reason for our recommendations and repairs. Our principal thought is to treat every customers bike as if it was one of our own. We strive to build not only a trusted working relationship with our customers but to also form a personal and rider relationship away from the shop. The IDOS family grows one valued customer at a time!
